An upgrade is not possible.
It is an old laptop. I wanted ti install muLinux because I thought it is
made for systems like this. Now is win3.11 on the laptop but internet
access is not easy with this one.
Therefore I wanted to install MuLinux. I need the laptop only If I'm on
holidays.
Thanks for your answer

upgrade.
upgrade that machine asap.
on an i486 with 4 mb of ram.. my system has trouble just booting up.
get as much ram in that machine as possible and go find some 600 meg
HD's so you'll have ample space. 140 is enough for mulinux base.. but
trust me.. 140 mb will not last.
