current -> tss.cr3 = 001000, %cr3 = 00101000
This when attempting to install muLinux 12r2 on a Fujitsu Point 510 (AMD
586/100, 56MB RAM, 2.1GB HD w/ 500+MB available)
The line before the above was: RAMDISK: Compressed image found at block
0
So I believe I managed to unpack things properly, exit out of Windows to
a DOS
prompt okay, and get the ``boot.bat'' process going.
I searched groups.google.com and the muLinux FAQ, as well as a Linux
book I got
from the local library without success. Any suggestions on what to do or
where
else to look? I tried posting to comp.os.linux.setup, but no response
there...
I'm trying to get Linux set up so I can use a windowing METAFONT (I'm
hoping the tex disk archive's setup is X Window enabled?)....
Thanks!
William
