I don't know about RAR - it's quite large and the space savings it
offers are smaller then its size :(
It would be interesting though to think about self-extracting archives
it should be able to create (only some few kilobytes for
self-extractor). Rar's site is www.rarsoft.com, if I remember it
right. However, it might mean a change in the add-on installation
routine...
