Editing Subjects

To edit a subject element:

1. From the menubar, select Window > Show View > Properties.




2. Select the subject element from either the UML Navigator or Diagram view.




3. Edit the fields in the Properties view as necessary.

Renaming a Subject

To rename a subject element, choose either of the following methods:

Using in-place editing:

1. In the Diagram view, double click the subject name to enable in-place editing.




2. Type the new name.

   
   

3. Click Enter or click in the diagram to apply the changes.

Using the context menu:

1. Right click on the element in either the UML Navigator or Diagram view.




2. Select Rename from the context menu.




3. Type the new name.

   
   

4. Click Enter or click in the diagram to apply the changes.
