Editing the History Element

A history element should always be inserted into a state. A state can only have one history element nested within it.

To edit the history element:

1. From the menubar, select Window > Show View > Properties.




2. Select the element from either the UML Navigator or Diagram views.




3. Edit the fields in the Properties view as necessary.

Renaming the History Element

To rename the history element, choose one of the following methods:

Using the context menu:

1. Right click on the element in either the UML Navigator or Diagram view.




2. Select Rename from the context menu.




3. Enter the new name.




4. Click Ok.

Using the Properties view:

1. From the menubar, select Window > Show View > Properties.




2. Select the element in either the UML Navigator or Diagram view.




3. Edit the name field in the Properties view.
