Editing Interaction Occurrences

To edit interaction occurrence elements:

1. From the menubar, select Window > Show View > Properties.




2. Select the element from either the UML Navigator or Diagram view.




3. Edit the fields in the Properties view as necessary.

Renaming Interaction Occurrences

To rename an interaction occurrence, choose one of the following methods:

Using in-place editing:

1. In the Diagram view, double click the element's name to enable in-place editing.




2. Enter the new name.

   
   

3. Press Enter or click in the diagram to apply the changes.

Using the context menu:

1. Right click on the element in either the UML Navigator or Diagram view.




2. Select Rename from the context menu.




3. Type the new name.

   
   

4. Press Enter or click in the diagram to apply the changes.

Using the Properties view:

1. From the menubar, select Window > Show View > Properties.




2. Select the element in either the UML Navigator or Diagram view. Alternatively, right click on the element, and select Properties from the context menu.




3. Edit the name field in the Properties view.

Setting the Number Property

To set numbering for an interaction occurrence:

1. From the menubar, select Window > Show View > Properties.




2. Select the element in either the UML Navigator or Diagram view. Alternatively, right click on the element and select Properties from the context menu.




3. Edit the number field in the Properties view.
