Creating Lifelines

To create a lifeline, choose one of the following methods:

Using the diagram toolbar button:

1. Click the Lifeline button on the diagram toolbar.




2. Click on the diagram to create the element.

Using the diagram context menu:

1. In Diagram view, right click on the background.




2. From the context menu, select New > Lifeline.

Using the element context menu:

1. In the UML Navigator view, right click on the collaboration diagram that will contain the new lifeline.




2. From the context menu, select New > Lifeline.
