Creating Artifacts

Choose from any of the methods listed below to create an artifact element.

Use the diagram toolbar button:

1. Click the Artifact button on the diagram toolbar.




2. Click on the diagram to create the element.

Use the diagram context menu:

1. In Diagram view, right click on the background.




2. From the context menu, select New > Artifact.

Use the element context menu:

1. In the UML Navigator view, right click on the component diagram that will contain the new artifact.




2. From the context menu, select New > Artifact.
