Editing Links

Use the Properties view to edit links. By default, the Properties view is displayed.

To open the Properties view to edit a link:

  1. From the menubar, select Window > Show View > Properties.


  2. Select the link in the Diagram view.


  3. Use the fields that appear in the Properties view to edit the link.

Alternatively, you can right click on the link in the Diagram view and select Properties from the context menu.

Labeling Links

To improve the usability of a diagram, you can add textual labels to the links. Three labels can be associated with a single link: the link label itself, a client label, and a supplier label.

To add a link label:

  1. Right click on the label and select Properties from the context menu.


  2. Edit the "label" field in the Properties view.

To add a client/supplier role label:

  1. Right click on the label and select Properties from the context menu.


  2. Edit the "client role" or "supplier role" field in the Properties view.
