Importing Existing Source Code

Once you have created a Together Java Modeling Project, you can import source code from an existing file system. In an open Together Java Modeling project, import the files using the Import wizard:

1. From the menubar, select File > Import. The Import wizard displays.

   
   

2. Select "File system" as the import source. Click Next.

   
   

3. Click Browse to navigate to the existing files.

   
   

4. Select which folders to import in the selected folders list. You can also filter the file types by clicking the Filter Type button.

   
   

5. Click Browse. The Select project dialog displays.

   
   

6. Select the appropriate project from the list, and click OK.

   
   

7. Check to overwrite existing sources without warning if you wish to do so.

   
   

8. Select either to create the complete folder structure or to only create the folders that you selected in the selected folders list.

   
   

9. Click Finish. The file system imports into the project that you selected.
