Enabling UML Profiles

Together allows you to model diagrams using the following UML profiles:

• UML Profile for Modeling in Color
• UML Profile for Business Modeling
• UML 2.0 Support Profile
• UML Profile for Software Development Processes
• Eriksson-Penker Business Extensions Profile
• UML Profile for SAP NetWeaver(tm) Developer Studio

By default, Together uses UML 1.4 features for modeling diagrams. However, you can enable any combination of the UML profiles provided. To enable UML profiles support:

1. Select the UML Explorer view tab. If this view is not open, from the menubar, select Window > Show View > UML Explorer.

   
   

2. In UML Explorer view, right click on the root project folder, and select Properties from the context menu. The Properties dialog displays.

   
   

3. From the list on the left, select UML Profiles.

   
   

4. Check any of the UML profiles that you wish to enable. More than one can be activated.

   
   

   

   
   

5. Click OK.

NB: You can also access the Properties dialog through the Navigator view.
