Creating a Java Modeling Project

To model UML elements, create a Together Java Modeling Project:

  1. From the menubar, select File > New > Project. The New Project wizard displays.

  2. Select Together from the tree view list on the left.

  3. Select Java Modeling Project from the list on the right, and Click Next.

  4. Enter a project name. Click Next.

NB: To change the default location where the new project's resources are stored, or to include files in the new project that already exist in a different directory, uncheck the Use default location checkbox, and enter a new fully qualified path.

  5. Choose the starting diagram for the project, and click Next. By default, a package diagram is selected.

  6. Update any Java settings such as Source, Projects, Libraries, and Order and Export. For more information about these settings, see Application developer information.

  7. Click Finish. The Together Java Modeling Project is created, and the Together Modeling Perspective displays.

After completing the first screen of the wizard (entering a project name), you can click Finish at anytime, and the Together Java Modeling Project is created using default settings.
