Sequence Diagram Toolbar

Use the sequence diagram to model the dynamic aspects of a system. You can model sequence diagrams using either UML 1.4 or UML 2.0 features. By default, Together uses the UML 1.4 specification for modeling diagrams. To enable UML 2.0 support, see Enabling UML 2.0 Features. The same diagram toolbar elements are available for both of the UML specifications.

The diagram below shows the toolbar elements available for the sequence diagram:

Buttons

Button Description
Actor: Draws an actor within the Diagram view.
Object: Draws an object within the Diagram view.
Message: Draws a message link between object lifelines.
Message with Delivery Time: Draws a message link with delivery time between object lifelines.
Self-Message: Draws a message link from an object lifeline back to itself.
Return Message: Draws a return message
