Object Properties

This section describes properties specific to object elements. Every element has general properties as well as specific properties. For more information, see General Properties. The composition of the Properties view changes depending on the element selected in the Diagram or UML Navigator view. You can view and modify values of properties through the Properties view.

Object Properties

active: Set this value as true or false from the drop down list.

concurrent: Set this value as true or false from the drop down list.

instantiates: Use the ellipsis button to open the Select Class dialog, and navigate to and select the instantiating class.

in: This field represents the package that the class resides in.

location: This field represents the physical location for the class.

multiple instance: Set this value as true or false from the drop down list.

name: The name of the object.

persistence: Choose the appropriate persistence type from the drop down list. Objects have the following persistence types:

state: Use this text field to describe the state of an object. The text is entered directly underneath the name of the object on the diagram.

stereotype: Choose the appropriate stereotype from the drop down list, or add your own. The drop down list offers the following stereotypes to choose from:
