From the menubar, select Window > Preferences > Together > License to change the preferences that determine your license configuration. For more information on licensing, refer to the readme file included with your Together software and to the Licensing section of Together Help.

| Node-locked license |

| License host URL | The URL of the license server. SOAP protocol application sends data entered in the Get License dialog to obtain a license. |
| Floating server |
|
| Use floating license | Enables use of the floating license server. If this option is not checked, licensing will not search for a connection to your floating license server. |
| User name | Your unique identifier for the license server. This name will be used by the floating license server to determine which types of license additions are available to you. User privileges are managed by the floating server administrator. |
| Primary host/Port | The host and port of the primary floating license server. |
| Backup host/Port | The host and port of the backup floating license server. The backup server is used only if the primary server is not available. |
| Server timeouts | Timeout length, in milliseconds, for a response from the floating license server. |
| Socket timeout | Timeout length, in milliseconds, for a response from the floating license server. |
| Begin session timeout | Timeout length, in milliseconds, for a connection to the floating license server. |
| Wait license timeout | Timeout length, in milliseconds, for a license file from the server. |
