Component Diagram Toolbar

Use the component diagram to depict the physical architecture of a computer-based system.

You can model component diagrams using either UML 1.4 or UML 2.0 features.

UML 1.4 Elements

By default, Together uses the UML 1.4 specification for modeling diagrams. To enable UML 2.0 support, see Enabling UML 2.0 Features.

The toolbar below shows the toolbar elements available for the component diagram:

Buttons

Button Description
Subsystem: Draws a subsystem element within the Diagram view.
Component: Draws a component element within the Diagram view.
Interface: Draws an interface element within the Diagram view.
Supports: Draws a supports link between a component and interface.
Dependency Link: Draws a dependency link between subsystems, components, and interfaces.

UML 2.0 Elements

By default, Together uses the UML 1.4 specification for modeling diagrams. To enable UML 2.0 support, see Enabling UML 2.0 Features.
