Initial Configuring
To use the UDDI client functionality for publishing, updating, or discovering Business Services and tModels, first you have to administrate the UDDI client as well as the UDDI server. This is done using the SAP J2EE Engine Visual Administrator.
...
1. Select a UDDI registry
Start the Visual Administrator and select Web Services Container ® Runtime ® UDDI Client
On the left hand-side of the tab, a list of pre-configured registries is displayed. Select one of them and make sure that the Inquiry and Publish URLs are correct. If you want to point other URLs, then choose Edit Registry and enter new locations. Also, if the UDDI registry that you want to publish in is not displayed in the Available Registries list, you can add it by choosing New Registry. Through Remove Registry you can remove a selected registry.

Make sure that the URLs contain <hostname> and <port> value. If they do not, then add the port value manually (for example, localhost:50000).

2. Create users for accessing the UDDI client
Choose UDDI Server ® New User and enter the corresponding data. For more information, see also Managing the UDDI Server in the Administration Manual.
Using the Visual Administrator, you can create users for а local test registry only. If you want to create a user in the public registries available, you can do it from the Web site of the company that provides the UDDI registry. For SAP, this is uddi.sap.com and the public test registry is udditest.sap.com.
3. Configure the HTTP proxy settings
Select the Settings tab and enter the required proxy host and port information. Choose Save.
The necessary initial configuration is done, now you can continue with:
· Publishing a Web Service as a Business Service
· Publishing a Web Service Definition as a tModel
· UDDI Discovery for Creating Web Service Clients
