Removing Development Configurations
If you no longer need a development configuration, you can remove it.
You need this procedure in all scenarios except in Scenario 1: Team-Oriented Development.
· You started the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio and are logged on to the development infrastructure.
· All activities of this development component are checked in.

You cannot remove a configuration, if you still have open activities for this configuration. You can view your open activities in the Open Activities view. Check in your changes or uncheck-out them.
When removing a development configuration, components that have not yet been checked in to the DTR, can be lost.
...
1. Open the Development Configurations perspective.
2. Choose one of the following views:
¡ Active DCs
¡ Local DCs
3.
To
remove a development configuration, in the context menu of the corresponding
configuration node
choose Remove
Configuration.
A dialog window appears, telling you that the root directory of the development configuration still exists.
4. To delete the directory, choose OK.

It can happen that you are not able to remove a development configuration, because your login to the development infrastructure fails (your authorization has expired or the server is no longer available). In such a case, you can still remove a configuration:
· On the error message, choose Cancel.
A dialog window appears, telling you that you can now remove all development configurations.
· If you chose this window by mistake, choose Cancel.
· To remove the development configuration, choose OK.

If you still have open activities in this development configuration, this data may be lost.
