Procedure documentation Consolidating Projects Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

When consolidating your projects, you synchronize the consolidation machine with the state of the development in the CONS workspace.

There, you test the build and deployment for all involved sources, which you have copied from the DEV workspace into the CONS workspace.

Prerequisites

You have integrated the checked-in state of the DEV workspace into the CONS workspace using an activity.

Procedure

To execute the consolidation, proceed as follows:

       1.      In the DTR perspective, synchronize the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio on your consolidation machine with the CONS workspace.

       2.      Switch to the perspective of your project.

       3.      Import the projects you created and checked in in the DEV workspace.

       4.      Build the synchronized resources and create the archives required for the deployment, such as  Web Archive (war), Enterprise Archive (ear).

Result

If the synchronized development state can be compiled and deployed successfully, you have consolidated your project.
