Before you can call the Web Dynpro application in the portal for testing purposes, you must build the corresponding Web Dynpro project PageNavigationProject and deploy the Web Dynpro application to the J2EE Engine.

For instructions on building a project and deploying applications, refer to Building, Deploying and Running the Project.

You can deploy Web Dynpro applications by selecting Deploy new archive and run in the context menu of the Web Dynpro applications. The Web Dynpro application is called in the browser from a Web address.

Caution

It is only possible to navigate to the target application within the portal. The user can navigate to another Web Dynpro application there by pressing the pushbutton.
