Process documentation Web Archive Properties Management Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Purpose

You can modify the properties of a WAR file after you load it in the Deployer tab.

Note

You can only view the settings of the Web archive components.

Prerequisites

You must have either:

·        Loaded an EAR file that contains a WAR file.

·        Loaded a WAR file.

Process Flow

...

       1.      Select the WAR file.

       2.      For the context root properties of the WAR file, see Editing the WAR Context Root Properties.

       3.      For the different tabs you can only view or modify the settings:

¡        Main tab – see WAR Main Properties Management.

¡        Security tab –see WAR Security Properties Management.

¡        Pages tab:

§         Welcome Pages tab - see Managing the Welcome Pages in Editing the Pages Properties.

§         Error Pages tab – you can only view the existing settings.

§         Response Status tab – you can manage the response status codes as described below.

¡        Tag Libraries tab – you can only view the existing settings.

¡        Environment tab – the only subtab where you can change settings is the Component References tab.

¡        Mapping tab – you can only view the existing settings.

¡        Additional tab – you can only view the existing settings.

Managing the Response Status Codes

You can define custom HTTP response codes (in addition to the standard ones defined by the HTTP 1.1 specification in RFC #2616). To do this:

       1.      Select the Response Status subtab of the Pages tab.

       2.      Enter an integer value for the code in the Code field.

Note

Follow the restrictions listed in the Permissible values for response code field.

       3.      Enter a short description of the error in the Description field.

       4.      Choose Add, Modify, Remove and Clear accordingly.

Managing the Component References

You can specify a reference to a specific server component. To do this:

       1.      Select the Component References sub tab of the Environmenttab.

       2.      Specify the name of the reference in the Name field.

       3.      Choose a type for the reference. It can be:

¡        Service

¡        Interface

       4.      Choose or specify a JNDI name in the Jndi field.

       5.      Optionally you can enter a description for the component reference in the Descriptionfield.

       6.      Choose Add, Modify and Remove accordingly.

       7.      The Clearbutton clears the values from the fields.
