Replication 

Use

To enable Single Sign-On between SAP User Management Engine (UME) and SAP systems, users should ideally have the same user IDs both in the UME and in the SAP system. Replicating user accounts to the relevant SAP systems is one method of ensuring that user IDs are the same.

Activities

Automatic Replication

Replication is normally an automatic process and occurs during

·        User data import process where each record is replicated automatically

·        Creation of a new user, either by self registration or created by the administrator

Manual Replication

In exceptional cases, it may be necessary to replicate user data manually. An administrator only needs to perform manual replication in the following cases:

·        If there are errors during automatic replication

·        If you have connected a new system and want to replicate existing User Management Engine data to the new system
