Certificate Expiration
Notification
The SSL Provider service enables ports that are processed by the SSL transport factory such as HTTPS and P4/SSL to be configured to use X.509 certificates as server identity and trusted certification authorities. When one of these certificates expires, it will no longer be accepted by the remote peer and will fail the SSL handshake between the two parties. It is therefore is important for the administrator of the system to be notified before one of these certificates expires. In this way undesired client connection failures can be prevented.
