UME Properties 

SAP User Management Engine (UME) provides a range of properties that control the configuration of UME.

In this section, you can find descriptions of the most important UME properties including the following information:

·        Property: Name of the property.

·        Value: Explanation of possible values for the parameter, if applicable.

·        Default value: Value that the property is assumed to have if it is not explicitly assigned a value.

·        Initial value: Value assigned to the property after installation.

·        Description: Explanation of what the property defines.

You can edit the values of UME properties using the Config Tool of SAP Web AS Java. For more information, see Editing UME Properties.

If you are using UME with SAP Enterprise Portal, you can edit the properties file in the user management configuration tool.
