Application Locking ServiceThe application locking service is the interface for J2EE applications to the locking manager and the enqueue service.
If a J2EE application wants to set or release a lock, it uses the application locking service.

You have the following options for monitoring and testing the application locking service.
· Use the visual administrator. This is described below.

Use the console: see
Administration of
the Application Locking Service Using the Console
The following functions are available to you in the visual administrator :
· Open Sessions: All open sessions that can contain locks are displayed.
· Run Tests: Here you can test the locks at application level. There are functional tests (Execute functional tests) and load tests (Execute load tests).
· Time Statistics: Here you can read the statistics. The statistics are always active. You can refresh or reset them.
