Background documentation Some Rules for Working with the DTR Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

·          There must be a connection to the DTR, even if the complete component is checked out.
Reason: If you only use Save, a deleted object will be moved from Checked out for edit to Checked out for delete.

·          Do not check out Web Dynpro objects that other users checked out.

·          Do not keep bottleneck resources checked out, for example the component.

·          Always use the same activity for objects in the same development component.

·          Save your changes before performing repository operations (check in, sync, ...) in the Development Configurations perspective.

·          Execute Reload in the Web Dynpro Explorer after performing a repository operation in the Development Configurations perspective that adds/deletes/changes files (for example sync, revert).

·          You do not have to reload when you sync a DC with Development ComponentSync.
