Adding and Removing Fields 

Use

You can add and remove fields in CMP beans. See Developing Entity Beans.

Prerequisites

The multipage editor for the entity bean is open. See Editing Enterprise Beans.

Procedure

Adding Fields

       1.      Choose the Fields tab.

       2.      Select the Persistent Fields node.

       3.      Choose Add.

       4.      Enter the name and type of the field.

       5.      If the field is an array, select Array and enter the dimension.

       6.      Save your changes.

Removing Fields

       1.      Choose the Fields tab.

       2.      Expand the Persistent Fields node.

       3.      Select the field.

       4.      Choose Remove.

       5.      Save your changes.
