Procedure documentation Working with the Development Configurations Browser Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Use

You use the Active DCs, Inactive DCs and Local DCs views to navigate within development configurations. They are presented as trees with the configuration as the root. Besides the meta information, the browser displays the folder structure and the sources of the component in the respective repository.

You use this view in all development scenarios except in scenario 1.

Procedure

       1.      To open the next level, the Compartments level, choose the plus symbol to the left of the development configuration name This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

       2.      Choose the plus symbol to the left of the name of a compartments This graphic is explained in the accompanying text to view the components that belong to this compartment. The component nodes are labeled with the component names.

       3.      To access the meta information of the component (public parts, use dependencies, child components, and so on), choose the plus symbol to the left of the name of a component This graphic is explained in the accompanying text.

       4.      To see the meta information of the component, choose the symbol to the left of DC MetaData This graphic is explained in the accompanying text:

¡        The list of the folders containing the sources of the component This graphic is explained in the accompanying text. Only the development objects in these folders are relevant for the component build.
