Integrating a WD Application in the SAP Enterprise Portal 

You can integrate any Java Web Dynpro application in the SAP Enterprise Portal. It is irrelevant whether the Portal and the Web Dynpro application run on the same server or whether the Portal is available remotely.

If you have administration authorization for the Portal, a special iView wizard is available to you for integrating the Web Dynpro application. In the wizard, only a few parameters need to be entered -  for example, the namespace - for the application to be displayed in the Portal.

The SAP Enterprise Portal offers the following functions for Web Dynpro applications:

·        Unified rendering

·        Adoption of the Portal theme for the Web Dynpro application

·        Portal eventing: With the Portal event controlling template you can program the interaction between two Web Dynpro applications

·        Page link navigation, starting from a UI element of a Web Dynpro application view

·        Object link navigation

·        Use of the Work Project mode

·        Unified user management
