Editing the Log Configuration Properties of an EAR 

Prerequisites

Go to Log Configuration to get a better idea about the Log Configurator service.

Procedure

       1.      Open the Log Configuration tab. It has four subtabs.

                                                  i.       For the Locations and Categories tabs, see Adding, Editing and Removing Log Controllers in the Administration Manual.

                                                ii.       For the Log Destinations tab, see Adding, Editing and Removing Log Destinations in the Administration Manual.

                                               iii.       For the Log Formatters tab, see Adding, Editing and Removing Log Formatters in the Administration Manual.

       2.      Save your changes.

Result

Using the Log Configurationstab creates a log file. Its structure is described in the log-configuration.dtd.
