XML Archive Application Programming Interface 

Purpose

The XML Data Archiving Service (XML DAS) is part of the SAP J2EE Engine. This service is used by application systems via the XML DAS Connector to carry out XML-based data archiving. The XML Archive Application Programming Interface (XML Archive API) is part of the XML DAS Connector and is used to develop new XML archiving objects (ABAP), or archiving sets (JAVA). Technically the XML Archive API for ABAP consists of the ABAP class CL_XADK_API and for JAVA it consists of the JAVA library tc/TechSrv/XML_DAS_Connector.

As of SAP NetWeaver ’04 the XML Archive API is not yet available for customer developments.
