Deleting Versioned Resources

When a versioned resource is to be deleted, it is checked out for deletion in the repository. As the resource is checked out for deletion, an open version of the resource is created in an activity and marked for deletion. When checking in the activity, the newly created version becomes part of the workspace; since it is a deletion version, you can no longer use the resource’s path to access the resource in the workspace. All other versions are still part of the repository and can again be integrated into workspaces, should the need arise.
