Editing the UME Configuration
FilesThroughout the UME activation process, you will need to change the UME configuration files. To retain the default configuration, we recommend you create a new UME property file where you make the changes and then specify the new configuration file in the UME’s property sheet. See the procedures below.

When editing the files, you have the option to change the files online. However, certain special characters can cause problems when saving the files. Therefore, to change the configuration, we recommend you download the configuration files, edit them locally and upload the new files instead of changing them in online mode.
