Deleting Old Users and GroupsBefore you can switch the UME’s persistency layer, you must delete the users Administrator and Guest and the groups Administrators and Guests from the UME user store. Because you will delete the administrator user, you must use the super user SAP*, which therefore needs to be activated for this step. See the procedures below.

You will deactivate the super user SAP* in a later step.
...
1. To activate the super user SAP*, set the following property in the UME property file:
ume.superadmin.activated=true
2. Restart the server.
...
1. Start the UME user administration management console (http://<SAP_j2ee_engine_host>:<http_port>/useradmin).
2. Logon as the user SAP*, password 06071992.
3. Choose Roles.
4. In the role maintenance screen, delete the role Administrator.
5. Choose Groups.
6. In the group maintenance screen, delete the groups Administrators and Guests.
7. Search for all users and delete the users Administrator and Guest.
8. Log off from the UME user administration console.
Continue with specifying the persistency information in the UME properties. See:
· ABAP Engine: Specifying the ABAP Engine Information in the UME Properties.
· LDAP directory server: Specifying the Directory Server Information in the UME Properties
