Importing an Application-Specific Configuration File

Use

You want to import an application-specific configuration file logging.properties in the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio.

Procedure

       1.      Select the Web Dynpro project using the Package Explorer to import the application-specific configuration file logging.properties. Select the corresponding Web Dynpro application described by a Java package name in the subdirectory gen_wdp/configuration/Applications of the project.

       2.      Open the context menu by right-clicking the application. Choose Import.

       3.      A new dialog box with the Import Wizard appears. Choose File system from the listed items and confirm by choosing Next.

       4.      Use the Browse button to navigate within the file system window to the logging.properties file that is located in a directory of your own file system. Choose Finish.

       5.      The parameter update of the configuration file takes effect once you have recreated the archive file of your Web Dynpro application and deployed it on the SAP J2EE Engine.
