Additional Functions
The Deploy Tool provides some functions that are common for all tabs. They are very important for the tool to work correctly and for its successful use. Some of these are:
· Saving a Project – concerns specific actions and processes that are quite important for the proper saving and renaming of a project file.
· Refreshing the Deploy Tool – shows the up-to-date view of changed components.

These are available only for the Assembler and Deployer tabs.
· Setting a Project Classpath – defines the path to the source code of your components so that they can be loaded correctly.
· Setting Classpath Variables – specifies classpath variables.
· Removing a Component – removes a component and its deployment descriptors.
· File Chooser Window – adds files and directories to application components.
· Error Reporting – highlights in red each incorrect J2EE component. With this function, you can preview and track each error message. For more information about each exception, choose Project ® Errors in Project. To see the incorrect component, choose an Error ID and then click on Go To. The additional information will be displayed in the Short Message and Help Message fields.
