Activating and Deactivating SQL Trace 

Use

SQL Trace is inactive by default. To use its functions, you must activate it manually. You can also disable it if required.

SQL Trace is available as a Web application, and is also integrated into Visual Administrator.

Procedure

You can activate or deactivate the SQL Trace using the following options:

...

·        SQL Trace application:

                            a.      Launch SQL Trace.

                            b.      Follow the link Switch on and off SQL Trace.

                            c.      Select the cluster node for which you want to activate or deactivate the trace.

                            d.      Toggle the trace using SQL Trace ON and SQL Trace OFF.

·        Visual Administrator:

...

                            a.      Start the Visual Administrator and log on to the J2EE Engine as a user from the administrator group.

                            b.      Go to the runtime screen of the Log Configurator Service on the server process for which you want to enable SQL Trace.

                            c.      Toggle the trace using Enable SQL Trace and Disable SQL Trace.
