The main tool is the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio’s PAR Open Tool Plug-in that contains:

• A WSDL generator
• A serializer and deserializer generator
• A proxy generator
• A complex objects wrapper

You can also use its functions for development operations for PAR files.

Two other tools can be found within the portal: the SOAP Admin tool (for configuration needs) and the SOAP test suite.

It contains interoperability tests (round one – to check the compatibility between the portal Web services and other implementations). It also verifies the compatibility of the round one tests with the main SOAP platforms available on the market. It contains an example of external Web service use and an example of client proxy use (this proxy is Open tool generated). It also contains an example which shows a way of using the WSDL generator (on the fly WSDL file reading and writing).
