Creating New Principals for Guest and
Administrator and Deactivating SAP*Before you can switch to the new persistency layer, you have to create the users and groups for Administrator and Guest. Also deactivate the super user SAP*.

1. Restart the UME user management administration console (http://<SAP_j2ee_engine_host>:<http_port>/useradmin).
2. Logon as user SAP*, password 06071992.
3. Choose Create User.
4. Using the user maintenance, create the users Administrator and Guest.
5. Choose Groups.
6. Using group maintenance, create the groups Administrators and Guests.
7. Add Administrator to the Administrators group. Add Guest to the Guests group.
8. Choose Roles.
9. Using role maintenance, create the role Administrator.
10. Add all action items to this role and save.
11. Select Add groups to Role and add the group Administrators to the group Administrator.
12. Logoff and close your Web browser.
13. Set the following property in the UME’s property file (see Editing the UME Configuration Files).
ume.superadmin.activated=false
14. Restart the SAP J2EE Engine.
The default administration user SAP* is deactivated. The users Guest and Administrator are created in the new UME user store persistency layer.
