Configuring the UME Using an LDAP Directory Server for Persistence

Use

If the UME uses an LDAP directory server for its persistency layer, then you need to set the UME properties accordingly. You also have to delete the administrator and guest users and groups in the original persistency layer and create them in the directory server.

Procedure

...

       1.      Delete old users and groups.

       2.      Specify the directory server information in the UME properties.

       3.      Create new prinicpals for Guest and Administrator and deactivate SAP*.

Result

The UME is configured using an LDAP directory server for its persistency layer.
