Freezing Development States
The Design Time Repository (DTR) gives you the option of restoring defined source code states in the form of activities at any time.
To do this, you use the integration sequence number (ISN) of the activities and the Sync to date… function of the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio.
You are in the Design Time Repository Perspective.
You have integrated the development work in the DEV workspace into the CONS workspace.
You have documented which activity ISN represents a stable state of the source code.
1. In the Closed Activities view of the CONS workspace, select the activity that contains the last stable state of the source code.
2. Choose View Activity Details. The Activity Details dialog screen appears.
3. Select the timestamp in the Integration Date column and synchronize the CONS workspace to this date.
4. To do this, select the CONS workspace and choose Advanced Sync ® Sync to Date... The Sync to Date dialog screen appears, in which you can enter the timestamp.
5. Choose OK.
You have restored a defined state of your software developments in the CONS workspace.
