Page Builder API 

The page builderAPI provides methods to control the page size, refresh the page and page personalization.

In this chapter we refer to term iView ID. The iView ID is the URI of the iView in the Portal Content Directory (PCD).

Full specified URI on an iView:

pcd:portal_content/every_user/general/eu_role/com.sap.portal.mypages/com.sap.portal.eu_ws/com.sap.portal.home/com.sap.portal.pageBuilderDefault

The iView domain has to be relaxed before using the page builder API.

For native Portal components, Java iViews, this is done automatically by the EPCM object. See chapter JavaScript Origin Policy for more details.
