Testing the SSL Connection

Use

To test whether the SSL connection to the LDAP server is working properly, call up the user management administration console and search for an LDAP user.

Procedure

       1.      In the Web browser, enter http://<J2EE_Engine_Server>:<J2EE_Engine_port>/useradmin.

       2.      Log on with an administrator user.

       3.      Use the search function to search for a user that is stored on the LDAP directory.

       4.      Optionally perform other operations involving LDAP users.

Result

If the user is found, the SSL connection is working. If not, check the troubleshooting section.
