Ports

A list of all the ports that are occupied by SAP J2EE engine can be found under SAP J2EE Engine Ports.

Applying for and Installing the SAP License

When you first install a J2EE-only installation of the SAP Web AS, you get a temporary license which you work with. You then have to apply for a permanent license from SAP and install it. The procedure is described under Licensing the SAP J2EE Engine.

Configuration Steps Following Installation

The section Post Installation Procedures contains procedures that you have to carry out after the installation, if you want to use certain functions. You can use the SAP Cryptographic Toolkit on the J2EE Engine, activate secure storage in the file system, or set up the User Management Engine (UME) as the standard user storage.
