Specifying Application Display Information 

Use

You can specify elements that GUI based tools can use to visualize the application.

Prerequisites

You have opened the application.xml file in the multipage editor. See Editing application.xml.

Procedure

       1.      Choose the General tab.

       2.      In the Display Name field, enter the name that GUI based tools will display.

The display name need not be unique.

       3.      If you want to specify icons to be displayed, select Icon and enter the paths to the large and small icons.

The images can be in JPEG or GIF format (small 16 x 16, large 32 x 32). The paths are relative within the EAR file.

       4.      Optionally, enter a description of the application in the Description field.
