Creating Web Objects in the Diagram View 

Use

You can create the following Web objects in the Diagram view:

·        Servlet

·        Filter

·        Servlet Context Listener

·        Servlet Context Attribute Listener

·        HTTP Session Listener

·        HTTP Session Attribute Listener

Web objects are created in packages.

Prerequisites

A Web Module project.

You are in the Diagram view and have opened a page at the level at which you want to add the resource.

Procedure

       1.      In the toolbar, select the appropriate icon from the Web Object Creation Tools list.

       2.      On the Diagram view page, drag and drop where you want the image to be displayed.

       3.      Click the default name and enter a name for the Web object.

       4.      Double click the image to open the Java editor.
