Configuring the Plug-In Tool 

Use

The plug-in tool requires information in order to upload a portal application to the portal. Thus you need to provide the name of the host, port number and login name.

Procedure

Choose Window ® Preferences ® SAP Enterprise Portal:

You can specify:

·        Alias

A descriptive alias of this portal installation

·        Host

Name of the host, for example localhost

·        Port

Port used to connect to your portal, for example 50000.

·        Login

Login name for upload, for example testadmin

·        Description

A description of this portal installation

In addition you can:

·        Make the plug-in remember the password you specified upon deployment; choose Yes, I want to remember passwords for deployment

·        Set the portal installation as the default for deployment; select the checkbox in the Default field of the configuration list

·        Add the portal settings to the list; choose Add

·        Remove, edit or copy a configuration
