Changing the UME LDAP ConfigurationUse the
UME LDAP configuration
tool to activate the Secure Sockets Layer (SSL) connection between the
User Management Engine (UME) and the LDAP directory and to provide the SSL
port of the LDAP directory.

1. Shut down all cluster elements.
2. Start the Config Tool by executing <SAPJ2EEEngine_installation>\j2ee\configtool\configtool.bat.
3. In the Config Tool, choose UME LDAP data.
The UME LDAP configuration tool displays the configuration for the connection to the LDAP directory.
4. Select the SSL checkbox.
5. In the Server port field, enter the SSL port of your LDAP directory.
The default SSL port for LDAP is 636.
6. Choose Apply changes.
7. Restart all cluster elements.
