Reference Manual 

Purpose

This manual contains SAP Web Application Server specific information. You can use it as a quick reference in the process of administration and development.

The reference manual covers the following sections:

·        UI Element Reference Guide

This guide contains a series of standard Web Dynpro UI elements that support general user interaction and screen display within a Web application.

·        SAP J2EE Engine Reference

Provides detailed information about the J2EE Engine managers and services properties, Shell environment commands, DTDs, and monitored data.

·        Java Persistence Reference

This section provides information about the JDBC API features that are supported, references to the SQLJ API and the Open SQL grammar and data type mapping. It also contains a description of the SAP implementation-specific JDO metadata mapping DTD.

·        UME Reference

This section contains information about the SAP User Management Engine concerning logical attributes used in Java API and preconfigured data source combinations shipped with UME. It also contains a description of the most important UME properties.

·        The IisProxy Module Reference

The IisProxy module reference contains bit definitions for logging and debugging and the DTD for the IisProxy module.
