Procedure documentation Adding Resources to the Repository Locate the document in its SAP Library structure

Prerequisites

The resource you want to add must be stored at the desired location in the client workspace, which is the selected location in the local file system.

Whenever possible, use the special perspectives in the SAP NetWeaver Developer Studio.

Procedure

...

       1.      In the Repository Browser, select the resources to be added to the workspace.

...

                            a.      To add a folder to the workspace, in the context menu of the folder in the Rrepository Browser choose Add this folder only.

                            b.      To add a folder with files to the workspace, in the context menu of the folder in the Repository Browser choose Add this folder with files.

                            c.      To add a folder with subtree to the workspace, in the context menu of the folder in the Repository Browser choose Add this folder with subtree.

The folder specified along with the complete hierarchy under it is added to the workspace.

                            d.      To add a file to the workspace, in the context menu of the folder in the Repository Browser choose Add this file.

       2.      If you have selected the option of explicitly specifying the activity for the operations on the workspace, the dialog window Activity Selection is displayed with the list of open activities existing in the repository. You can either select an existing activity or create a new one.

The resources are added to the activity specified.

       3.      Check in the activity.

Note

Checking in the activity makes the resources read-only in the client workspace.

Result

The resources are added to the workspace.
